Man caught with $5k worth of oxycodone pills
A 35-year-old Wallington man was arrested after he arranged to sell heroin and oxycodone to undercover detectives, authorities said Wednesday.
Tomasz Magdziak faces charges of distributing heroin and possession with the intent to distribute oxycodone, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said in a statement.
Magdziak sold heroin to undercover county narcotics detectives on “multiple occasions” in April and May, Molinelli said. The transactions took place in Wallington and Passaic.
In another planned deal on Tuesday, a detective arranged to meet Magdziak to buy heroin and oxycodone, the prosecutor said.
Magdziak was arrested without incident in Passaic and found with 170 oxycodone pills worth an estimated $5,000, Molinelli added. He was held at the Bergen County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bail.
